Pulkin Computer Services was founded
in 1998 as a part-time computer consulting business. After Wayne
Pulkin, President of Pulkin Computer Services, retired from Telcordia
Technologies in September 2001, the company went full time and
began to transform from a general consulting company to data
protection business. Pulkin Computer Services, Inc is now
one of the premier data backup and restoration companies in the
Southeast US.
Our mission is to provide small and
home-based businesses the opportunity to protect their revenues and
comply with government and industry regulations and standards by
ensuring their critical business information residing on their
computers is securely backed up offsite and readily available to
restored when disaster strikes.
Our servers reside in Digital Service Consultant's co-location facility in Buford, GA. Our servers are housed in our own rack and have full T1 capability, which allows a great number of clients to back up simultaneously. We have both a primary server where the backups are stored, and a secondary server that backs up the primary server in case the primary server has problems. External drives are used to backup the backups so that our clients data is redundantly stored.
